Mica consists of multiple layers of Muscovite or Phlogopite Mica paper impregnated with a Silicon binder.

• Mica has excellent mechanical, thermal & electrical properties
• Colour: Silver
• Dielectric strength: >20 kV/mm
• Temperature:
• Muscovite: >500°C
• Phlogopite: >700°C
• Available in sheets

Applications: Insulation between high-temperature heat platens and moulds. Insulation in induction arc furnaces.
