Description

PVC-U (polyvinyl chloride) is an amorphous, thermoplastic, plasticiser-free plastic, also known as hard PVC. The “U” stands for “Unplasticised”, so it’s “plasticiser-free”. PVC-U is primarily characterized by its excellent chemical resistance, processability and is easy to bond.

  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Good mechanical and tensile strength
  • Good dielectric properties
  • Can be welded and fabricated
  • Easy to machine with conventional tooling
  • Widely used for components in the chemical industry
  • Temperature: -15°C to +60°C
  • Colour: Grey
  • Sheets : 1 mm to 40 mm thick
  • Rods : 8 mm to 300 mm diameter
  • Easy to bond

Applications: Widely used for mechanical components in the chemical industry.
